The University Language Centre (CSAL) organizes Italian Language courses which are free of charge for all incoming international students.
Various courses (beginners, intermediate, advanced) are organized each year in both the first and the second semester.
Courses for beginners and intermediate-level students are organized in the first semester, together with an additional advanced-level course in the second semester.

The CSAL has two self-study centres: the first one is located at the Faculty of Economics, in the centre of Ancona (open from Monday to Friday 8.30 -18.30), the second one is in the Monte Dago Campus, located at the Faculty of Engineering (open from Monday to Friday 9.00 -19.00).
