The Università Politecnica delle Marche continues to strengthen its position in the main national and international university rankings, confirming a steady path of growth in terms of quality, research and sustainability.

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, which assess over 1,500 universities worldwide with a strong focus on research impact, academic and employer reputation, internationalisation and sustainability, the Università Politecnica delle Marche is ranked in the 801–850 range globally, placing 24th in Italy. The ranking particularly rewards the University’s research performance, especially with regard to Citations per Faculty and the International Research Network indicator.

On a national level, the CENSIS Ranking places the University 2nd among Italian medium-sized universities (10,000–20,000 students), confirming the high quality of teaching, services and research.

Sustainability represents a further area of excellence. In the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, the Università Politecnica delle Marche ranks 96th worldwide, consolidating a strong international profile in environmental sustainability policies. In addition, the University participates in the QS Sustainability Ranking, further highlighting its commitment to sustainable development, social responsibility and environmental impact.

7 out of its 12 Departments have been declared “Excellence Department” by the National Agency for University and Research Evaluation (ANVUR).

As regards employment status, among second-level graduates interviewed one year after graduation, the employment rate is 89.2% compared to a national average of 78.6%. The employment rate increases for respondents five years after graduation, reaching 94% compared to a national average of 89.7%.
